No magic here. The answer is always one of the numbers told in #2. They all share the same symbol and it changes each round.

I've took 26, sooo
2+6 = 8
26-8=18
substract 10= 8, but it shows me the symbol of 9... o__O

This is SO ( ... )ing old. I remember doing this on paper before there even was a ( ... )ing internet. I've seen like 5 different flash versions of this as well.

if someone is interested, why the result is always 9,18,27,... :
10*a+b is the number you are thinking at. (a and b are the digits)
the result is: 10*a+b-(a+b)=10*a+b-a-b=10*a-a=9a for all a0)
And the symbol in the game is always the same for all numbers which can be devided by 9.
And the symbols change from game to game like already some people have recognized here :)
