SolemBurn: plz add function to set real time speed (February 9, 2011, 5:44 pm)

asfg: How come the moon keeps colliding with Venus? (February 9, 2011, 6:07 pm)

Anonymous: #2 Not a to-scale model. (February 9, 2011, 6:44 pm)

Anonymous: mmm trolls (February 9, 2011, 7:13 pm)

Anonymous: Does anyone know the year when the planets are aligned? (February 9, 2011, 7:37 pm)

-: The next partial planetary alignment will occur in 2040, on September 8th for Mars, Mercury, Venus and Earth. As for total planetary alignment, according to doomsayers it's going to be somewhere in 2012. Most astronomists agree that it's not likely to happen any time before the sun goes tits up. (February 9, 2011, 8:18 pm)

fagju: hmm... ithought the sun is bigger... (February 9, 2011, 10:29 pm)

ant: Enter your birthday, or your fave superstars birthday-deathday, see if you see anything special in the alighnments? :-[] RIP kurt cobain (February 10, 2011, 12:34 am)

Anonymous: #7 see #2 http://www.relfe.com/Images/Solar_System_3.jpg The distances between the planets are also vastly out of proportion. In reality the terrestial planets are in a relatively dense cluster around the sun, while the outer planets are very, very far away (which is why Jupiter appears to be about the same size as Venus from Earth, even though Jupiter is a colossal beast and Venus is 4/5 of Earth's volume). tl;dr space is big but the person who made this was going for the artistic effect. (February 10, 2011, 9:20 am)

Anonymous: ^ meant "see #3" (February 10, 2011, 9:21 am)

owowo: At 2507 there is a nice alligning, but far from perfect. (February 10, 2011, 12:32 pm)

anonymous: I could never calculate how long it would take these planets to align themselves, regardless of our suns lifespan. But if you just want to 'see' the planets aligned perfectly, enter "8.6e305" into the year. Any digit smaller than that won't work. (February 15, 2011, 12:46 am)

anonymous: #12 I'm sorry, make that "8.6e307".... (February 15, 2011, 12:51 am)

Murch: Also the orbits of the planets is not circular. (February 15, 2011, 3:39 pm)

Falcon_47: #13 I'm sorry but you missed pluto there -_- (yes being picky i know) (February 22, 2011, 3:41 pm)

Falcon_47: #15 Never mind, i saw the blue arrow and didnt understand that it was actually the date and not pluto, but it still raises the question: is pluto still a planet from our solar system or not anymore??? (February 22, 2011, 3:44 pm)

anon441: 1434 8 28 kinda cool. and it already happen (February 24, 2011, 11:20 pm)

Hypercane tornado: WOW so based on this there will be a perfect lineup in 2079 (February 28, 2017, 11:56 pm)
