Yeah, the movie lacks some of a subtleties of what an actual nuclear explosion does. Lacks some of the obvious things too, but real nukes make for uninteresting movies.

nice animated, but what bothers me a bit... isnt a nuclear explosion supposed to be hot? I dont see any fire only a huge shockwave

Yea those people in the building would have totally been vaporized by the intense radiant heat of the initial blast. Still cool though.
