Anonymous: Unbalanced as hell. Chickens: increase in price every time you buy one (that kind of economy has to suck), drive up your upkeep, can spontaneously combust if you get the wrong event, require wasting 1 AP every day to collect the dividends, and even with upgrades requires weeks to get a return on your investment. The Museum: costs 2000 and returns 100 daily with a decent number of medals, meaning 20 days have to pass to get any returns from it (not counting the additional upkeep). Heavy guns: ratatatata hell yeah I'm shooting dozens of bullets per seconds wait why am I not hitting anything oh crud I have to reload waiting waiting waiting okay reloaded but I still can't hit the enemy right in front of me GAME OVER! Handguns: very few bullets, and the only way to kill anything is headshots. This becomes difficult once the enemies start running in as swarms and headless siege engines show up. Longbows: the most direct route between you and the thing trying to kill you is a straight line. Longbow arrows do not use the most direct route. Explore the town: costs 1 AP and will sometimes give you a small bonus. Most of the time it will just screw you over (damaging the wall, taking away your chickens, or robbing you). Special trainer: costs a truckload of money, requires 4 AP each day to use, and only gives you a few skills before you have to upgrade it. Trainer: makes your NPCs level up faster. Which means you have to pay them more in wages. The best advice I can give you is to turn on casual mode (you still earn medals even though it says you won't), play as a sheriff, and concentrate on hiring NPCs with rifles and high aiming speed. The best things to spend your AP on are praying (the extra defense is vital later on), recharging grenades/hammers, and robbing the museum. (December 3, 2009, 4:30 am)
