Actually !(#1==smrt) would be a statement to say that take the outcome of is #1 "smrt" and reverse it.
You wanted to say that #1!=smrt, as to point out that when #1 is not smart the outcome would be true.
The result is the same but they mean two different things.
So stop being a smart-ass when you can not even do that correct.

How to break this simulator:
1. Wire the outputs of an AND and a XOR to each other's inputs, and two switches to the free inputs,
2. Turn the AND's switch on and start flicking the XOR's switch.
3. Half the time the system state is invalid (all states where the XOR's switch is on).
