Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Die Zauberflöte: Der Hölle Rache

Just...wow.

it sounds pretty strange for a german like me.
but in fact for a program that isn't made to sing german lyrics it is well done.
did anyone have a miku version of beethoven symphony no9 - ode an die freude?

and please no prepubescent comments about germany.
the current generation has nothing to do with the nazis.
#2 - Balmung83 - 02/07/2010 - 19:01
This reminds you of how high the voice has to go. No wonder only around 9 singers can go that high.
#3 - LordJebe - 02/07/2010 - 19:36
lol why anyone would listen to this over the original baffles me.

That goes for any of the Hatsune Miku songs actually.. I just don't get it

#4: I don't think anyone prefers this over the original. they just acknowledge the amount of work that is put into a vocaloid track
and this counts even more when someone manages to make miku sing german or finnish or whatever

So annoying.

blubblob
Some pronunciations were terrible, but it was fun anyway.

The pronounciation is made out of ass every here and there, even I could do a beter job but quite unique and functional otherwise.
#8 - Nasse - 02/09/2010 - 08:45
just like a real opera, you dont understand wtf she sings without lyrics, so pretty good job.

@domino (#4): Concerning "any of the Hatsune Miku songs":
Miku has a pretty unique voice, and, due to being a program, can do some things human singers can't. She can sound fairly realistic from the hands of a skilled user, but she doesn't have to - her voice, the way it is, just fits better to some songs than a real one would. This might be my personal preference, but it's the reason why there are cases where *I* prefer Miku over a real singer.
An example would be this: http://dagobah.biz/flash/Miku_Nekomimi_Switch.swf
I can't imagine a real person singing that without breaking the style of the song.

I admit this explanation doesn't apply to the flash I'm currently commenting on, but, for this particular case, Hideki already posted the answer :-)

It's really well done. I totally agree with #2 and #10.
