Got 2145... Gets hard when there are huge numbers of em... I upgraded only the Turret, and it worked well for me... Engine uprage is quite useless i think...?

I got to about 2.5k the first run, you need to upgrade engine and shield to survive later on. Turret will only get you so far.

Speed helps you get ahead of some of the ones that like to spit out explosions and is needed to get out of the big ones way.

jeez. the engine won't save you later, they move so quickly right from the start that you can barely escape the yellow ones by 6th or so wave.. so eventually it's just about not running into crossfire at the start of wave.

39935. i hold up + left all the time and put everything in shield -> lvl21 but boss was too fast so i got squished

17575, I used 100 shield, 25 cannon and 15 speed. I needed more speed, my game ended on one of those blue things that leave explosions behind them.
