Someone makes a lolsorandum AMV Hell clone comprised of mixed copyrighted video and audio content they do not own, which probably meets the criteria for Fair Use but is ultimately derivative of the intellectual property of others. Were they to make any profit from it, it would no longer be Fair Use. It is publicly available, as shown by the 6 million views on YouTube.

Someone takes a 10 second clip from the video and uploads it here.

#3 you sound butthurt, maybe because you have never made anything worthwhile or put energy into making something, but Baka clearly states you can use anything of his works, including copying his full video's. As long as you give credit to him or link to the original video. Hence I just said "source:..."

#4 I am the author of multiple computer programs. Not counting the libraries it uses (half of which were written by myself), the source code of the largest is currently sitting at 1.08 MiB. That's about the length of a 300 page novel, written in my free time when I am not at my full-time job. I give it away for free. Your accusation is groundless.

Nor am I particularly upset by this exchange. Merely amused by a claim of ownership over an insignificant fragment of something that is itself stolen.

#8 No, I'm not mad about people put in time to work on stuff that they love. What bothers me though is that they are asking for crediting and accusing of stealing as soon as something doesn't get credited. It just doesn't feel right for me. Everything on the internet gets stolen and copied to no end. I don't get why people make a big deal about it. You could just post the source without bitching about it if it bothers you that much.

#10, mate look at my comments, they're only /sources, I've seen that anime 404 video get cut up and uploaded so many times here which is fine. But the effort of putting a link to the video when you upload it, is smaller than cutting the video etc.
Plus, no one needs to ask for source if you provide it.

Also, I don't mind putting source on every video that comes around here, because I like finding stuff. But jesus do you guys get mad when I put in a joke with the source video. Like i'm gonna arrest you for "stealing".
