You are not the poor little oppressed child being bullied by the evil west, you're just as much of a asshole as everyone else, except you're willing to go the extra mile in order to prove your faith. That is why your religion is considered dangerous in the western world. Extremism poisons everything it touches.

Sharia has no place in the modern world, with it's ridiculously disproportionate punishments for the slightest flaw. Did you know your book explicitly states that non-believers and converts should be killed? It's kinda hard to get people to listen to them when your religion requires them dead.

I have zero issues with you believing in Allah, building mosque's and celebrating Ramadan, and I won't ever judge anyone on the color of their skin or the absurdity of their faith, as long as you keep it to yourself and don't try to impose it on other people.

The western world got to the point it is because of secularism, maybe you're the ones who should take a good look and learn of it. Religion has no place in politics.

Point ( ... )ing being? He was making an analogy, not every analogy has to be one hundred percent watertight. The point he was trying to make was that people try to blame bad things Muslims do on the religion rather than the individual's circumstance. While I doubt this happens in most everyday situations, I think it is important to recognise that religion is not always the sole motivating factor in a person's life. The 'flaw' you picked out doesn't even have any relevance.

Furthermore, where did he ever mention sharia law?

yeah, but others religions dont approve 'jihad' (holy war, in name of religion ofc) and dont approve law telling 'kill anyone who insult/is against your religion'. last time, i saw in tv program about kids (now adult people) injured because they parents was orthodox believers (mainly-muslims)... girl, who was circumcised 3 (!) times now has got a problem with getting pregnant, and every period she's got, she suffers from pain... thats why, im haruhiist (or atheist, depends of people who know what haruhiism is or not).

I think it's kinda funny how they compare Nun's and stay at home mothers who make the choice to live that kind of life to women who are expected to do those things and can be punished if they don't.

This is more related to a metaphrase than an analogy. It´s called ¨I´m trying to make a point while mixing phrases and metaphrases for people to see things from my point of view, even though it´s totally partial, thus not showing the cons or the ¨holes¨ of my reasoning¨-ism.
(i.e: Emmentaler/Swiss cheese has holes. The more cheese you got, the more holes you´ll have.
On the other hand, the more holes you got, the less cheese you´ll have.
Thus, The more cheese you have, the less cheese you have.

The "holy" books of both of these religions tell to loot, burn, rape, kill and repeat. People just interpret the writings to match their morale/goals: "This is symbolic LOL" and "The context is different" are some of the usual arguments used to defend this.
