Dagobah Flash Gallery

the idea behind the wilhelm scream was to use it at the most unfitting moments in a movie/series/commercial/etc

the worst Use might be a washing machine commercial from the 90s

#6 even then, that takes going into a recording studio and having to pay an actor to go through a few screams to get one that sounds "right". It's more cost effective to just use a sound the studio effectively has "on file".

It was originally made for some POS movie in the 50s i believe filed under "man eaten by crocodile." One of the main reasons it stuck around is because of the sound designer who did most spielberg/lucas stuff actually put it in every movie he worked on just as a inside joke/easter egg.
