sinnfreichan: the idea behind the wilhelm scream was to use it at the most unfitting moments in a movie/series/commercial/etc the worst Use might be a washing machine commercial from the 90s (June 13, 2011, 5:39 pm)

Mike L: Damn, I knew it was the same scream! (June 13, 2011, 8:26 pm)

hahuji: Awesome scream (June 13, 2011, 9:01 pm)

renton7eureka7: He forgot: Lotr: Two towers in the battle of Helm's Deep, when an elf falls from the wall :p (June 14, 2011, 12:42 am)

DerfLlennod: #4 the one scream to rule them all (June 14, 2011, 7:13 am)

Niegol: It's too cliche now a days, just make new screams is it really that hard? (June 14, 2011, 6:13 pm)

dinghy: #6 It's commonly used as a tribute by editors. (June 14, 2011, 7:41 pm)

naem: Disney and Star Wars love their Wilhelm (June 15, 2011, 6:35 pm)

the-philou: Omg even in star wars.... (June 15, 2011, 10:18 pm)

Frololololol: #6 even then, that takes going into a recording studio and having to pay an actor to go through a few screams to get one that sounds "right". It's more cost effective to just use a sound the studio effectively has "on file". (June 16, 2011, 3:12 am)

s: Forgot League of extraordinary gentlemen (June 17, 2011, 8:54 am)

themantogoto: It was originally made for some POS movie in the 50s i believe filed under "man eaten by crocodile." One of the main reasons it stuck around is because of the sound designer who did most spielberg/lucas stuff actually put it in every movie he worked on just as a inside joke/easter egg.
