Quans: Some interesting things about this animation, the gears are actually in layers and not just a video playing in a loop. If you use Swiff Player, put in experimental mode, and view the video in "3D Slices" mode you'll see that each gear is on it's own layer and it appears as one layer because of the position of the "camera." What you're actually looking at is all the layers stacked. The reason why it loops so well is because of the timing of those gears, and when the timing's off you'll notice when the animation repeats. When you put Swiff Player in experimental mode it immediately offsets the timing because of the time it takes to load that mode and you'll be able to see when the animation repeats. Also if you put Swiff Player in "3D Plane" mode and look closely at the two gears going around the boarder of the screen you'll see that they're actually physical moving objects and not just different videos stacked on top of each other.
