DeAimon: Ok, some MGS history. MGS 3: Snake Eater(this video) takes place in 1964. MGS 1: Solid Snake takes place in 2005(Shadow Moses) MGS 2: Sons of Liberty takes place in 2007(the tanker, where you play as Snake.) and 2009(The big shell, where you play as raiden) These years are the fictional years that the characters in the game exist in. So the games got released like this. MGS 1 -> MGS 2 -> MGS 3. (durrrrr) The timeline in the series however is MGS 3 -> MGS 1 -> MGS 2. This video is how you start MGS 3, you're not supposed to fall off the cliff :p Hence, if snake blaas, the events of MGS 2 and MGS 1 would be altered, thus changing the course of history. Especially considering that snake blew up 2 nuclear missile launching systems that were a threat to the world. Learn your MGS damnit! (August 13, 2010, 12:11 am)
