tith: #17 I have no way of knowing if "misaki" is a boy's or girl's name, so that really doesn't help your argument. I would normally assuming that any anime character that doesn't have 5 gallon breasts to be a male, however, the way the character walks, as well as the hair cut confuses me. The character "Near" from death note gave me no end of trouble with trying to figure out if he was actually a he. From what I've read(lol wikipedia), it seems that males trying to be as feminine looking as possible but without outright crossdressing is actually a "style" in japan.
