hahuji: Wow! A virtual Mahjong game that actually works pretty smoothly. Instantly 5'd! (April 20, 2009, 5:26 pm) Jaska: Great riichi-mahjong flash game :) I prefer tenhou.net over this one touhght but this one is good too. (April 20, 2009, 5:59 pm) sdfg: Now I'll never need Tenhou again. (April 20, 2009, 9:03 pm) sdfg: Disregard that, The computer is horrible. How can you ever win when the computers are all ganging up on you? (April 20, 2009, 10:05 pm) noob at mahjong: Could someone explain why I can't call Tsumo or Ron at sometimes? The game just complains "No multiplier." What is this multiplier-thing anyway? (April 21, 2009, 11:59 am) Jaska: There's many reasons why you can't Ron or Tsumo, if you do A pon (take someones discarded tile) or chi (take someones discarded tile) and you don't have the necessary tiles to complete the hand (pon or chii should not be called if you are not sure you are going to have three dragons, three winds of your own Here is the original site with some hands. http://gamedesign.jp/flash/mahjong/mahjong_e.html If you are a fin then here's good list of hands that descripe every detail how it should be done http://www.mahjongopas.info/saannot/japanilainen-riichi/yakut/ (April 21, 2009, 2:29 pm) wry: I've never played this before, and I got a draw. Is that good? (April 24, 2009, 9:27 am) Atem: 'there is no multiplier' means that you need a yaku. there is more then one condition to say Tsumo or Ron. the first is, that you must have 4 sequences and one pair. for example: two pon, one kan, and one chi, a pon is a combination with three of a kind (8+8+8 of characters) a kan is a compination with four of a kind (5+5+5+5 of lotus) and a chi is a order of a kind (2+3+4 of bamboo) if you have 2 pon, 2 chi and a pair can you call ron or tsumo if you have a yaku too. Ron, if an other player discard a tile that you need Tsumo, if you get the tile. a yaku is a handpoint. There are lots of handpoints. you get one if you say riichi. or if you have a pon with a dragon or wind. you have to try to get lots of handpoints, because the other players must pay more to you. sorry for my bad english. I am not good at it. (February 4, 2010, 1:18 pm) ;ASDnakki: Never played the game before and I have no idea of the rules. Came up second, not bad. (June 1, 2010, 5:59 pm) Mr. Curious: @sdfg. I agree, anytime I am close all of a sudden its pon's, kan's, chi's, and ron all over the place. Also, isn't it supposed to be called Tenpai and not Tenapi? (October 8, 2010, 6:47 pm) MojoStarter: Hello, I'm a newbie in this game, can someone tell me why i cant play this hand? http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/8254/mojoh.jpg i get 4x chi and 1x pair but if i want to call Tsumo it says "No multiplier" What is wrong with my hand? (October 17, 2011, 3:29 pm) The Guy: No yaku, so it's not a valid hand. List of possible yaku here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_Mahjong_yaku (November 2, 2011, 2:27 am)
