Truly epic anime, worth watching a few times over and over again :D (April 5, 2011, 9:14 pm) asdfcopter: I voted 5 just because the nostalgia value and the awesome song. Don't know why it's here though. (April 5, 2011, 11:43 pm) Zargot: #3 Agree, Manga was better (April 6, 2011, 12:29 am) gae: Pure awesomeness :) (April 6, 2011, 1:10 pm) Doofus: The whole serise would have been a whole lot better without Naru and Keitaro. Still was a nice passtime back then. :-) (April 6, 2011, 1:46 pm) Anon: #8 Yup, but they were the shitty archetypical characters that had to be in all 90s anime. (April 6, 2011, 10:48 pm) rgyan: #9 And the shitty archetypical characters had to fill in the niches that the "main character and his love interest" didn't. Cases in point - Konno was a drunkard, nope, can't have a drunk as the main love interest. Shinobu and Su were a pair of lolis, and cp is bad. Motoko was a pseudo-Yamato Nadeshiko, but also brought in the aspect of being too serious (and even at times too "pure"). So she was both "too perfect" and "too imperfect" for the role as a love interest. Mutsuki was the obligatory girl who clumsy in everything, providing a plethore of pantyshots and "Keitaro's-face-accidentally-buried-in-Mutsuki's-breasts-HAHA-NARUPUNCH" situations. tl;dr - Love Hina more or less defined the harem animu archetypes, and used them effectively to distinguish obvious non-love interests from the eventual love interest, who is either a tsundere, or a yamato nadeshiko. Christ, I feel like such a nerd now. (April 8, 2011, 12:58 am) Synonymous: Step 1. Do a quick video encode and preloader to make people nostalgia on blaa just cuz I was bored. Step 2. Winds up reposted on Dagobah. Lol, you guys will repost anything. Regardless, it fulfills it's only purpose which was to invoke nostalgia. It was the first harem anime I ever watched and I see much love here. (August 17, 2011, 8:01 am)
