The music Daft Punk made was soo good that a movie was made after it. Its not the other way around where the music is made for a movie. The animation is off of the movie created for Daft Punk called Interstella 5555

Interstella 5555 is best described as an extended music video where the entirety of an album is strung together with no extra words in order to create a coherent plot. Essentially a techno-opera.
