sinnfreichan: In case somebody doesn't know what's going on here: The cat on the ground got hit by a car and was supposedly dead right away. Her Boyfriend-Cat however tries to revive her no matter what, chasing away anybody trying to help. It took some 10-15 minutes until a vet managed to catch him. ;_; (November 2, 2010, 6:38 pm)

sinnfreichan: okay, my bad. correction: This stray cat was filmed in Turkey ( Kızılsaray district of Antalya ) trying to reanimate his female friend who got hit by a car. Even though some people tried to help him, the white cat wouldn't let them come near for two straight hours. Finally a vet arrived and took the injured cat. Sadly, it was too late and he couldn't resuscitate the feline. (November 2, 2010, 6:41 pm)

Shade: First off, cats can't resuscitate. Second, by what I've read so far, and from my own experience in cats, I think the brown-white cat which would be the black-white cat's mate was trying to get up or wake her up, but realising after about 2 minutes of not-very-explicable doings the black-white cat wouldn't wake up. He thought "What the blaa..." and kept on trying to get her up. The reason why the brown-white cat wouldn't let anyone approach the dead black-white cat is because he was very worried about her, him not exactly understanding that she was dead. Probably, not even now he dosen't understand what death is. Like a cat I had for myself, she kept biting me thinking my hand is the food I give her, or just because of love. XCougar's comment is also true. Third and last, sorry for being an asshole but, I've seen dead cats in my life. Never cried. I've seen one's guts splattered all over the road one time.
