PenZon: Sarcasm overload! No, seriously, creationism is retarded. (August 25, 2007, 12:28 am)

anonymous: 5# yeah creationism is flawed like i dont know what but to say that there is a omnipotent being thats just "poff" made all things up is slightly worse in my opinion. Just wait and see, thats all one can do. sarcasm i love you~ (August 26, 2007, 2:08 pm)

dude: I wish that people would stop arguing about it all take post #5 saying that it's retarded for example people like you only START arguments and should keep your opinions to yourself if you can't be nice about it both sides of have things that can't be explained (August 27, 2007, 1:00 am)

x3: PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN (August 27, 2007, 9:42 am)

Kuyukly: The funniest thing about this is that God didn't write the bible--MAN did. Fucking epic. 5'd! (September 4, 2007, 9:43 pm)

John Gannon: god is a contagious delusion responsible for more evil than any other human concept, misconcept or group of consentual actions however inspired, conspired or instigated... The probability of there being a 'god' as defined by religion is so slim as to be unworthy of any intellectual consideration... A belief in such is no more than a manifestation of the frailty of our existence and ignorance... A belief in an after-life (and/or god) is an understandable, but conceited, human frailty related to a mis-conceived notion that there is a purpose to our existence which is greater than the need to reproduce (ie. the perpetuity of the base amino-acids of deoxyribonucleic acid - genes). And such beliefs belong firmly in the realm of fantasy. 'god' is no more than a quaint & ancient contrivance used by man to explain that which is currently beyond human comprehension... an intelligent answer is 'As yet we do not know'. Man created god .. And Americans are educated to be ignorant... ... and you say reject science and reason !!!!!!!!! (September 21, 2007, 11:50 am)

Synner: >>#5 Shut up you piss poor excuse for a thinking human being. The main difference between religion and science is that religion goes fully on faith, with no observable evidence what-so-ever. And Science goes almost exclusively on things that can be measured and tested, while using theory's to bind gaps. A theory, meaning not yet proven, they even say we can't prove it just yet, but we are working on the proof. To prove something in science you have to have an experiment that you can test more than once. With religion all you have to have to say its absolute is words in a book. So stfu about both having things they can't explain. Religion can't, science hasn't yet. Fucking monkey, evolve more. (October 1, 2007, 12:49 am)

Sir Onkel Ed: By The Bloody Teeth of Khôrne! It's proved that religion only make everything in name of progress to come to a complete halt. The middle ages are enough proof of what evil religion is. Without people that prooved religion to be wrong, we wouldn't have cars, computers, microwave ovens, descent health care, TV, electricity, space travels, sattelites, civil rights, democracy, PROGRESS!!! AND A MILLIONBILLIONETERNAL numbers of other things. The only things religion is good at is controlling, corrupting, lying, stealing, taking lives of innocent people and start wars with those that do not believe in the same bullshitstory that you do. And you proove me to be right when you don't think for yourselves and only follow some made up shit Blindly. How can you ever believe something written like this: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." So he didn't create water then. He only made heaven and earth. But seriously... Can you ever stop attacking atheists with shit because you want to feel better about yourselves. Atheists doesn't take up arms against religion. They just want to be free from manipulation, corrupted control and live happy lives at their own wish. Or is it jealousy? Because atheists don't have strict rules about drinking, what to wear, what to watch on television, what to eat, what to not eat and because most of us can live with not being ruled by something that can't be seen, heard or felt? Freedom to express ourselves in the ways we want, listen to the music we want? And just like Synner says. Science is something that must be prooved before you can say it's real and exsist, to do that you must be able to re-create the experiments, if successfully re-created, it becomes science. BUT! Science do not mean ABSOLUTE TRUTH. And that is the wonderful thing about science. It changes, because change is nature, and when we improve our technology, we improve our laws and updates the science, so that mankind can move FORWARD in time and make the world a better place for everyday passing by. These are words I have read and that I believe in. If Words Read In A Book Is Enough Evidence To Be The Absolute Truth! THEN THIS IS TRUTH! “Religion is the impotence of the human mind to deal with occurrences it cannot understand” -Karl Marx A mathematics teacher once said to someone who asked him why he didn't believe in god. The teacher answered -"If I told to you, that inside that classroom, there's a red ball. You can not go in there and find out for yourself and then come back out again. Passing that door into the classroom means death. You can only do two things. Either you believe what I say or you blaa and find out and I ask you, do you believe me?" Would you believe him? He didn't ask me but I walked up when the questioned guy had thought for a while and hadn't come up with an answer and said -"I Don't Believe You! Why would I ever believe in anything you said if you couldn't prove it with hard facts and evidence?" I questioned something he said was true. A friend of my said -"It's not a red ball! It's a pink dildo! I just came out from there and I clearly saw a pink dildo in there. I Promise!" The guy lied. Some did acctually believe in him. Now I ask you. Do you believe everything you hear and read because it says or someone says it's true? (December 11, 2007, 4:03 am)

crap: scientists have the proper evidence of how the earth was created, plus they have a hell a lot of proof and all u blaaing Christians have got is the blaaing bible which was written by people, not god PEOPLE blaas sake this video is ridiculous. what kind of proof is: god created heaven and earth? ITS JUST WRITTEN NOT PROOVED (December 22, 2007, 10:02 pm)

:3: Internet created thhe desuverse. Now everyone GTFO MAH INTERNETS (February 26, 2008, 2:21 pm)

resident_uk: Well if science says everything was madfe in the big bang, how do u think all that sutff got here and then suddenly expanded out of nowhere? (April 13, 2008, 4:51 am)

Sad: thats not funny, my brother blaad that way! (April 16, 2008, 3:54 pm)

moo: This guy is a seriously funny atheist on youtube, his account as you may guess is edwardcurrent. This is a nice recreation of his video, well done. :) "Well if science says everything was madfe in the big bang, how do u think all that sutff got here and then suddenly expanded out of nowhere?" I hope your joking. The matter before and after the start of the big bang was not "created" at that point. The big bang doesn't attempt to claim when the matter was created, it is using observed facts to form the current theory. Learn something about it before you spout stupid strawmen arguments. (July 13, 2008, 10:58 am)

Thats what i think: Well thats what here is called "science" is just Materialism. Materalism is -ism too. Materialists believe that there is no God or anything supernatural. So everything must be happened in a natural way. There is a clear difference between science and religion. Nobody can't actually prove that we are evolved from nothing (nobody can't prove that God or Elvis Presley created everytinhg either) they just suppose. We can just make guesses what has been happened. Nobody can't prove anything. If someone founds old sword, he thinks that, that sword has been made bay Romans because it contains some ore that is found only in Roman area but he can't prove it. If Mauno believes that whole universe has been created/has been born yesterday and sametime all our memories has putted in our head. No-one can prove that Mauno is wrong. There are many proves against christianity, but there are many proves that support it too. But I want ask something. How you can explain miracle healings in a materialstic way. Those situations where someone has prayed Jesus Christ for heal and (s)he has got his/her hearing back (or something else has happened) If you say "they are just actors who act like that" or something I'll ask why would they do that. What profit they get. If christianity is biggest cheat in history why 33% of worlds population want to cheat? What is their profit? In the end everything depends who or what you believe. I Believe in Father, Son and Holy Spirit because God invited me to follow him in confession camp and i felt that Holy Spirit came and touched me. I have seen miracle healing and hear about many of them. I Wanna ask you to follow God, why you wouldn't try, it's free Sorry about bad english, i hope that you get the point. (September 14, 2008, 8:59 pm)

anonymous: Religion is a good concept for autocratic leaders at the top to aviod the event of their position getting questioned. They can simply point at the sky and say "Don't blame me, it's he up there who decides things.. i only speak his will". Very usefull indeed. (October 31, 2008, 1:27 am)

Blank: How it all came to be: "Things happen, what the heck." - Terry Pratchett (January 16, 2009, 5:44 pm)

asd: #18 shut the blaa up. science agrees that everything's just guesswork. and anything that exists and can exist is material. a supernatural ghost caught in a bottle, becomes material. a god that talks to everyone the same way is material. you can NOT keep a belief in stupid shit. shit's stupid if not everyone can experience it. if not everyone can experience it, that's grounds for heresy and executions. wrongful belief is an abomination. there's however a difference between faith and belief. now, i'm all for faith. i believe that faith is an important part of our world. faith is about NOT taking things for granted, and managing to live between the concepts. there are 'believers' just as there are 'scientists' who are utterly devoid of faith. i'm a buddhist in that respect. enlightenment is all about being 'open', and can be directly compared to faith. Colt: There is no God or Science. There is only flying spaghetti monster (July 4, 2009, 9:52 pm)

Aw man: #23, I tought it was flying Peanutbutterpotatoesallad. I guess I was wrong. The spaghetti monster sounds more logical. (November 25, 2009, 12:46 am)

Asudragon: so we all should belive what a blaaing books says, so Christians believe the bible because "god" wrote it. so if i wrote a book and just say god made that book and in that book it stands "all Christian dumbshits should hang them selves" then they should do it, because "god" wrote it (January 3, 2010, 5:08 pm)

None: I liked the font. Also, I call Occam's Razor on this subject, what is a simplest explanation for everything that has not yet been empirically proven by science? Well Christians/Catholics/Muslims/Jews all might say the same thing, God did it, theres a problem with that argument though, its not simple, if God did it where did God come from, how was God created, how did God speak in the void that was the heaven and the earth when he created it, in what language did God speak the words, and thats just a few of the unanswered ones, theres also the whole where did God get the raw materials from, because to me even a 'supreme' being must follow the prime law pf physics that is Matter may not be created or destroyed. Of coarse we don't know how any of it actually came to be, even matter had to come from somewhere, but to claim anyone knows where or how is foolish at best, we have educated and uneducated guesses. As a thinking human being, I withhold believing in a creation theory, be it scientific or religious, they are both shots in the dark at the moment. Though I will give props to M-Theory, I like it, but wont claim it to be true. (March 23, 2010, 8:37 am)

myggan: I cant belive in god until i get it proved in front of my eyes the he exists and dont say that the bible is the profe... (May 31, 2010, 1:27 am)

Znookey: Ok for starters I do not believe in god. But I am not an atheist. This is an intersting (and old) subject. My belief is that christianity was founded by Jesus (I think he existed). Almost all the great religons tell you to live a nice and unselfish life. It is something created to help people, but some humans might have corrupted it and used it for bad things (wow writing long stuff about this sure is easy). And there I lost my train of thought. (will I ever return here?) (February 1, 2011, 9:11 pm)

atheist: god is real! im god according imgod.txt which i wrote. im 100% sure! (April 26, 2011, 2:56 am)

JJaTT: Oh god damn it my Sarcasm Detector just blew off the roof. (June 12, 2011, 9:16 pm)

Shinji: Some Jehova's witnesses told me that atheist is that one who does not believe in ANY superior power and stuff. I consider myself as atheist, still I like to believe (not firmly, but to just say) that the only superior power or being is the Mother Nature (don't mess with her O_O). I don't know how or when she born. Don't know if she created all we know, or what. I just like to simply believe that Nature is powerful beyond us, that's all. No more, no less. I hate no religions. If following your belief makes you strong, or makes you bear the day-by-day, or makes you happy, then I think it's ok. Anyways, my belief is not so deep, still, does it makes me an atheist? (O_O) (October 3, 2011, 11:38 pm)

HamiltonJones: I can hear Eduard Khil singing... (January 15, 2012, 7:14 pm)

Znookey: #33(Shinji) That's probably not atheism, as atheism goes directly agaisnt gods. I'd say (but I'm not an expert in any way) that you follow a really, really, old religion (worshipping nature's old right?) or that you're an agnostic. (May 10, 2012, 11:13 pm)

Name: The sad thing is... the more you try to reason with a religios person, the more (s)he retreats into her shell. I think it's simply better to accept the fact that science and facts are not suited for everybody. Wish universities would ban believers from entering, though. An institute of science should not accept anyone who so profoundly refutes all their teachings yet still claims the title. (September 19, 2015, 12:18 am)
