Oh yeah, Tribes Ascend, the savior of PC Gaming, bringer of old school. Yeah, it's still quite not the same as old Tribes but ( ... ) it, better than any damn Call of Bad Company Modern Battlefield XVII. Fun thing is that if you are really good, other tribes veterans congratulate on you landing a blue plate special to a guy flying 250 sanics where codkids shout hax and other crap. You can really spot those modern warfare kids a mile away, llama grabbing a flag, stopping to shoot and using hitscan guns.

Tribes Ascend is a free to play, but not pay to win. You don't have to spend a quarter to enjoy it. Money can buy you only things you can unlock by playing.

I think Tribes 2 in some points were much better than ascend
1. unlimited map you could go as far as u want out of map borders and map will be generated, ofc nobody does that but that is a feel of freedooom!!!
2. Way better vehicles like bombarder, transporter u could be a pilot and take ur troops faster than they go by foot to enemy base...
3. Mod like construction? u could build in realtime online ur own building, more advanced than minecraft.
4. Bomb pack :P
Accualy they could do a better job to just update graphic and add these new wepons + achieves.
