Tioni: Hard but fun, will definitely play again. (August 10, 2009, 5:34 pm) bah: computer cheats :P their units can gang up and go to a certain level while mine just stand at even intervals and get shot off one by one. (August 11, 2009, 12:00 am) -: I understand very little of this game. This may or may not be related to the fact that I can't be arsed to read the instructions. (August 11, 2009, 12:15 am) Anonymous: When it says that green giants are made every 15 days, it means every *15th* day. So on the 15th, 30th, 45th day etc. you receive a green giant, regardless of when you actually built the pentagram. This becomes way too easy once you control a certain percentage of prefectures. I started in Hokkaido and have been sweeping across the Japan like a wind of death, rarely regrouping. The AI does stupid things like invading their neighbor when you're next to them with a bunch of strong units and don't take advantage of when you don't have many units in a neighboring district. It'd be nice to be able to disband units too -- the skeletons really start piling up at the end. #2 - click the buttons that say "hold" at the bottom of the screen. Your units won't attack until you tell them to. (August 11, 2009, 1:03 am) Anonymous: Oh wow. The bonus enemy is 20 kinds of cheap. PROTIP: build lots of green giant summoners. You will need them. (August 11, 2009, 1:45 am) Anonymous: The enemy is so bad at tactics, you can let it take over everything but the southwestern-most islands (Kyushu and Okinawa) and still win. More tips: A wall with 22 mechanics behind it will block anything the computer will throw at you. If the computer manages to build enough research laboratories to use the freeze strategy, you can counter it by calling the smith god. Knights are the most economical unit. A force of 25 knights will kill anything but a large number of samurai, only cost 40 each, only require one research, can attack through walls while on defense, and are fairly quick. The more expensive units aren't worthwhile unless you're fighting something that requires samurai (bonus enemies, other samurai). The best things you can build at the beginning are graveyards and artillery. Either will give you the slight edge you need to quickly seize territory at the start, which is the key to slaughtering the computer before it has time to build up resources. Skeletons are completely worthless later on, and actually end up getting in the way, but have the advantage that they can move around and accumulate. (August 11, 2009, 7:45 am) Londelen: @ #4, I find the skeletons very useful. you just need a full region of them and your Strategy maxed out. You can take on basically any enemy but mass samurai, if you just zerg in with your skellies, and then, when oyu have one skelly or two skellies left, hit the strats button, and click on the one that revies all your units.....as skellitons. Epic pwnage. (August 11, 2009, 8:35 am) : huh, the end was HARD! Didn't expect that there would be additional enemy. I had to soften those nasty creatures before invasion was possible. (August 11, 2009, 3:35 pm) 11: nice game, a bit too long but I still can not defeat the alien enemy. (August 11, 2009, 11:08 pm) Anon: I blaaing won that... I don't care what any of you say, just because the aliens kept taking one place, then back, then again, then back... :(((((( (August 12, 2009, 12:27 am) Anonymous: Ergo why I told you to build lots of green giants. The bonus enemy blaas very quickly if you have three invasion teams made up of green giants, samurai, and medics ready. (August 12, 2009, 12:57 am) Atem: it's a great game take hokaido and you can't loose (August 13, 2009, 3:13 pm) anon: Wow, one of the few games I enjoyed 'till the end! Knights are definitely the most economical unit, you can zergrush anything. I found ninja's too be equally, if not more effective too. I had maybe 25 green giants stationed over entire japan, and i used about 12 of them + samurais to attack one of the first alien islands, constantly defending, losing and retaking the other prefectures with a zergrush consisting of only samurais. That way, i breached the other alien islands with my green giant group of 12+samurais untill i had the boss island surrounded with samurais + those very same 12 green giants. Great game, it was very enjoyable. =) (August 14, 2009, 2:04 am) Anoon: I got zerg rushed by blaaing skeletons! (August 25, 2009, 3:13 am)
