This is stupid. Japanese schoolgirls make for very poor anti armor weapons. And the whole maid getup doesn't help either.

U think? it seems like they are quite well suited as anti armor weapons, must be some new invention that those crazy japanese made, and the outfit is just a disguise
#2 - BurndOwn - 09/15/2009 - 21:43
hence why the makers were perverts.

Reminds me of Mai OTOME which was surprisingly good

Ahaha.. Here no one schoolgirls. All 3 of them are experimental machines. Btw "kuruma"=machine.

Also, it's a suprisingly old title here, so schoolboys, don't say it "looks even worse than a".

omfg steel angel kurumi yeah!
One of the first anime series i watched, S2 centered about lesbo love, which is how i discovered it.
this one has nostalgia value for me.

The story wasn't half bad either, lots of romance and a decent storyline. Animation was good, music was catchy and it had it's dose of humour.
Overall, good.

#8 thankx

i THOUGHT is seemed awesome.
it seems to manage piling up all the good stuff without it becoming fake or strained.

sure, it's maid war anderoids, but it seems to LACK a lot of the otaku-stuff that often gets glued on to these niches. somehow it feels like it's just 'anime', the target audience doesn't shine through and ruin it all.

it's easy to make a tasteful anime that caters to a lot fewer people, but this seems to have it all, and only seems awesome.
otakus have way too much self-insertion and anti non-otaku elements nowadays.

it feels as if they're backing into a corner, turning away from society at large. i can see a casual fan getting enamored with this, and not feel 'dirty' or 'affirmed' by otaku values. a lot of the stuff is insider stuff. and really, you can keep the insider stuff if it means that you're leaving the noninsider behind.
THIS SHIT SHOULD BE OPEN, SPONTANEOUS, LIFE-AFFIRMING AND SOMETHING YOU CAN AND WILL WATCH WITH YOUR FAMILY!
not some fantasy fulfillment you will shamefully pursue by yourself or with the internets.
