Anon: #1 more like, people who know what it is will vote it down because it's still a blaaing boring flash. #2 It's used to organize things to reach them faster. Since at every level you have 4 squares, you will always be sorting out 75% of all data. So if you have 1 000 000 things, let's say your item is in the bottom right square, you will then only have 250 000 items left to go through. This repeats in this square and then you only have 62500 items left to go through, etc (April 18, 2010, 6:56 pm)
