I sure do love representative democracy.
Because clearly if it actually came to a vote, the majority of people would vote to start wars. Yup. That would be a thing that would happen if we actually asked people: "Do you want to go through soldier training and attack that nation?" clearly enough people would say yes to make wars feasible. Yup yup. And practically nobody would vote to use the funds generally reserved for the military to be used to end hunger and build enough renewable energy to supply ourselves with plentiful clean energy, no, everybody would hate that.

Well, if we actually solved all the hunger problems and stopped all the wars, our population would probably double every 5 years or something (yeah, maybe not that much..)
We'd never be able to sustain ourselves. As horrible as it might sound, a few wars here and there and some fatal diseases are pretty useful. >.> Yay for humanity
