Okay, what the hell? Mario Castle Calamity and Taskbah are rated higher than this? Is the rating system working in reverse too?

Interesting video, I like the concept, the music, and the story. Where it lacked: The artist didn't have the skill or didn't take the time necessary to draw out the motion of the character properly to make this more eye catching to show how good this video is.

#4 - it's shown that they live on the inside of a cylinder / ringworld, so my guess is that he kept falling upward until up was no longer up but down.

It's also possible that his boots ran out of power.

Assuming it is a ringworld, the skyhook/space elevator buildings don't make sense. If the world rotated the inertia would pull the buildings to the ground. The only way they could work is if the world did not rotate, the tethers were extremely rigid, or the buildings had some kind of propulsion system to push them in the direction of rotation.

Then again, in CCC World people can run up vertical columns for a hundred feet before somersaulting backwards onto armored tanks and destroying them with cans of soda, so I'm probably thinking about this too hard.

I assumed that he just simply didn't have the power/inertia to continue going upward, so gravity just took its toll, and he started to fall back down.
