The hit detection is bad, enemies spawn right on top of you without warning, at times it's hard to tell the difference between the playing field and background, the magma in the Aku rises before you have a chance to jump to the platforms, and all too often avoiding damage is a matter of luck and mashing spacebar. It can be won however.

Weapon codes:
Justice : shield : invulnerability while held
Purity : bomb : damages all enemies, but very slow
Compassion : sword arm : slow mid-range attack
Courage : throwing stars : fast long-range attack
Valor : morning star : mid-range attack
Honor : arrows : slow long-range attack
