I was out of weekly special ideas, so I decided to pull out one of my last Laiti sketches from time right before I started chapter 2. He's holding some sort of ritual dagger I'm not probably ever going to give him. Just a random sketch. Yup. Just random.

Random is the way of today's society. Yay for randomness.

Yay. With this I'm only 3 pages and one weekly special behind schedule. See if I can make more this weekend.

The story's getting more interesting. But comparing to some other comics, it's still amateurish... Oh well, not like I'd be earning anything with these.

Where was I? Oh right. I like making cliffhangers, as you have noticed. If I was given money every time I make one... well... what does one usually do with money?

I love Dark's expression in the last frame. At least I succeeded in something...

Wait, in what mood am I again? Holy crow! I'll go whack Dark with a newspaper.

Ok, which of you has been stealing my time? Give it back, I need it. Seriously.

It seems someone's been stealing my time! Can you believe it? I can't find time to make comics nowadays! Of course I'm still trying, I'm not giving up that easily.

But sheesh... I had one comic ready (last friday's actually) to be scanned but - whaddaya know - I didn't have time to do that.

It seems like I'll be sacrificing my physics classes for these comics now. It's not like I understand those things perfectly either...

Fortunately there's a free week after next week, during which I'll try to make up with the missed updates. Then I'd have to find time to do those three projects for this course as well!

I'll go poke purple ninja with a stick next, I'm pretty sure they're hiding something...

So... it's an update.

Finally got to update this. My host was down so I couldn't update earlier. Now you might think I had a lot of time to make more comics... sorry, this is the only one I managed to complete. I don't know where my tiume went. Maybe the Dire Badger ate them. Maybe the Purple Ninja know something. I dunno.

Let's see if I can find anything to comment in the comic itself. Hmm... Ah, right. I was able to do minor things to this page since I had time, but there's no point in telling about those since none of you saw the first two versions.

I had some trouble figuring Dark's new hairstyle, but it turned out juuust fine.

First of all, here's a button to the chapter 1 last page.

So, I finally got to make the second chapter. How long did that take, two and a half weeks? Neat-o.

I must say I'm happy with the "new" style. Sure, it takes twice as much time to do than before, but it's well worth it.

And Laiti's wings, I've been practicing drawing them for... I don't know how long.

But who's that talking off-panel? That will be revealed in the next page, which I'll be working on tomorrow. I simply don't have time for it today.

I wonder if I missed something...

Of course I did. I decided to reset the page number for every chapter, but the number in the brackets is the total number of pages. Just thought I'd let you know.

News

So, today I managed to put up the two remaining fillers. Only thing missing from chapter 1 now is the cover art, which I'm going to start working on right after this post.

These are the two comics in case you missed them. Page 55 and Page 56.

I can't wait to start working on the next chapter. Oh, and I was right. As far as I can see, I already have two class projects ahead of me.

I have this feeling I had something else to say, but I can't think of anything.

First of all, there will be no greyscale version of this comic due to technical problems. Namely, the spiral simply vanished when I tried to make it greyscale. Oh well, I decided not to make greyscales anymore, so it doesn't matter.

The banana joke remained in the minds of my readers. I reused it, just for the sake of it.

Chapter 1: The Deep, Dark Forest is now complete, except for the cover art which I'm going to work on pretty soon. I believe we'll have the first chapter 2 story tomorrow.

The pirate jokes today weren't ripped anywhere particular... and it's just easy to make pirate jokes. I mean, just find a word with "ar". Then make it "ARRRRR". Then think of a question for it. Most pirate jokes (surprise) consist of these types of jokes.

So, the matriculation exams - and the exam week - are over. For now. That means we should be moving on to the next chapter. Except I'm two fillers and a weekly special behind schedule. I'll attempt to fix that as soon as possible. Today... I don't know where the time went. I slept 5 hours last night and now I'm all dizzy. If that's not enough, my right foot hurts. Note to self: Never, ever sleep 12 hours again. It leads to terrible results. Bah!

Also, I have a new friend on the internet. Well, I've had for some time, but now I'll announce it here. Dhark's Hero School and its author Merlin Missingham. I warmly suggest you go and read the comic there. My first webcomic friend. Yay.

So much to do. I hope I get to fix everything when the fall vacation strikes after two weeks. Then I should have time. Of course, with new course in school, all the teachers will throw some nasty projects at us. Likely. Well, I don't know really.

The second course of the semester mainly consists of mathematical classes. That means a lot of drawing from my part. A bad habit of mine. You should see what I manage to do in classes. No wait, that would spoil the future storylines. Dernit...

Today I am feeling... Well, in the morning the word "tranquility" went in my head... now I feel like I'm just annoying anyone off with my complaining. I hate that feeling. It leads to loneliness and that's when Dark hits me with his scythe. Not good.

My leg is still hurting. Ow.

Here I have, paper in front of me. I should do the filler. But it's 10 PM. And I want to catch up with my sleep.

On latest news, we got ourselves the latest Harry Potter book. I think I'll go read it.

Fortunately it's the beginning of the course in school right now, so I expect to have time to finally do the fillers and begin chapter 2. Hopefully. You never know about those teachers.

Also, beware of purple ninja. I don't want to scare you too much so I won't say any more.

Greetings. As you might have noticed, I did some changes around here. First, I set up the link to Master's Library. It contains things such as F.A.Q., character information and so on. (In case you wonder about the absence of the Frequently Asked Questions, I can only say I haven't got any.) Second, I made up the archives folder for the comics. They are still easy to read, though, as I put a link on the folder's description to the newsest page (which, at this moment, happens to be page 50). I managed to find some time to do this, and will soon resume to making the exam week fillers. If you find any bugs or suchlike, tell me, and I'll try to fix it.

Today, tuesday 19.9.2006, is the international Talk Like a Pirate Day. As such, my weekly special is related to it. Also, since it it's a special day special, I put it earlier than usual. I plan on doing the same with other holiday specials as well.

I'm pretty sure you can't figure out what those speech bubbles contains, as even I can't figure it out from the scanned version. I put the subtitles here:

So, today's comic is mainly the evil team in different costumes. From left to right there's Soulcweep, Dark (betcha you knew this one already), Malus, and the Keg twins. Like mentioned in previous Team Dark special, it is not sure if the Keg twins are considered Dark's goons anymore.
