Ooh. Dark has got his hands dirty.
I rarely do such violent scenes... I like how the moon turned out, though. And in case you were wondering, that's not Dark's original scythe. And no, Dark doesn't have a shadow of his own.

This image displays how much I have developed my skills with wings. Let me point out the obvious.
Change to MK II was thicker main lines. "Veins"?
Change to MK III featured different wing shape. No longer the feathers looked like hanging hair.
Change to MK IV featured more curvy lines.
Change to MK V featured bent wings
Change to MK VI was minor, making the wings longer in comparison to their height.

Oh look! An update!
Everyone else (other comic authors) were doing it, and so did I. Also, I can't think of anything to say about the picture. Sorry.
And what Dark said in the newspost is... uh... lie. That's right. There's no updates because I must read for the exams... and so on. Sorry about the lack of updates.
Ok. Seems like I failed my goal to catch the missed updates this year. I make no promises on new year eves, because one should not make promises one cannot... what's the word again? Meh...
I apologize the lack of any updates. I was coming up with a great Chistmas special, but I didn't make it in time (I may try getting that particular one next year. One year to make a Christmas special. Yay). I guess that somewhat depressed me and has kept me away from drawing for a while. This of course resulted in my skill: Crafting (comics) dropping a little.
I think I had something else to say, but I must have forgotten it. I wonder why I'm so forgetful. Maybe I knew that one time but then forgot it. Oh, well...
Ah, right. Laiti is wearing protective glasses and is staying far from the firecrackers. You should follow safety lines as well.
Don't stand next to the fireworks like Master dies. And final thing: don't shoot anyone with...
Happy new year.

Actually, Master is referring to the origin of new year fireworks. If my memory doesn't fail me this time, fireworks were used in china to banish demons for a whole year. Honestly I think that won't work in Dark's case. It didn't work the last two years so why would it work now?
And last thing. Although the speech bubbles are ellipses in this special, I'm not sticking with them. It's a pain to do them with my equipment. Also, if you didn't notice, I've changed the font. This change is going to be permanent unlike the first one.

So, my birthday was today. Or yesterday (10.12) to be exact. I'm finally 18 then. It feels nothing different from before... except that I had to stay up late to make this special.
What do I get now? I can drink. No big deal. I'm not going to. Then I can get my drivers licence. And that'll I get in spring.
Gah! I have other stuff to do as well. Good night, wish my luck.
Edit: Now that I have a moment I say a few things about this special.
They are all in The White Room. There's no shadows because... well, the whole room's white.
The people are my old characters. First is Pal, Sanka (The little guy next to Pal), Nemesos, Keg, Mimic (Not the monster type) and Sankar (Yes, I had trouble naming them nine years ago). Sankars the stick man. Then there's Master, but you know him already.
The orange cans contain carrot juice.

Whee, I managed to make the weekly special on time. As you might have noticed, I dropped the "sunady" off, since... well, most of these haven't really been updating on sundays.
The little purple vermin (I wonder if the plural is vermin or vermins) want me to get going with all that cave thing in the main story so they can get to the stage themselves... After they ate all the yughurt in the fridge!? I mean, sheesh...

I was out of weekly special ideas, so I decided to pull out one of my last Laiti sketches from time right before I started chapter 2. He's holding some sort of ritual dagger I'm not probably ever going to give him. Just a random sketch. Yup. Just random.
Random is the way of today's society. Yay for randomness.

Of course a chapter needs a cover art. What were you thinking? Oh, right. You were probably thinking about something else. Silly me.
First I must say that I'm not completely satisfied with this... but as long as it's made, I'll take it. After all, it IS better than the first few pages of chapter 1.
What else can I say? Goodbye, chapter 1, welcome chapter 2!!

Today, tuesday 19.9.2006, is the international Talk Like a Pirate Day. As such, my weekly special is related to it. Also, since it it's a special day special, I put it earlier than usual. I plan on doing the same with other holiday specials as well.
I'm pretty sure you can't figure out what those speech bubbles contains, as even I can't figure it out from the scanned version. I put the subtitles here:
Noname: "So what? Does this make me a ninjapirate?"
Master: "Yarr!"
Smaller pirate: "4-|-| y-y-0..."
the other pirate: "Arr, shut ye up already!!"
Briggs (the one beside Darkwiz): "Avast, Darkwiz"
Darkwiz: "Briggs!! Long time no see!!"
The ARRRRmy of pirates in the back: "Yarr" x 9
Some characters didn't make it to this holiday special. *Takes a look at the fairy and the badger*.

So, today's comic is mainly the evil team in different costumes. From left to right there's Soulcweep, Dark (betcha you knew this one already), Malus, and the Keg twins. Like mentioned in previous Team Dark special, it is not sure if the Keg twins are considered Dark's goons anymore.

It's all out of a sudden burst of randomness. Really.
1) It's not like I had any use for typonator in my comics.
2) I don't who in Venessa's name that guy is.
3) Typonator isn't my invention.
Figures. Anyway, that covered this week's special. If you want those cool, awesome colored weekly specials, you'll just have to wait until I'm in the right mood. It's not like I plan on putting much anything than scteches here in weekly specials.
Why do I feel the typonator affects me right now... could be the timae as well.
Yes, I can see the typo in that last sentence, but for the gun's sake I'll just leave it there.

I'll go for a scetch this week.
There. Distracted Dragon. My newest character. I might change its appearance, though. To make it look more dragonish. Although one can already see it's a dragon. If for nothing else, then for the fact that it reads right below the dragon itself.
You'll see D. Daragon in the comic in the future. Or, that's at least how I've planned it.

This is the weekly special for this week, and I decided to make it wallpaper -like. I'm not sure if I succeeded. I doubt. Well, better luck for me next time.
Also, I'll try to put medium and small sizes as well, depending if the gallery can scale them properly.
The picture itself is in one of Black Army's bases. The guy in the big hat is just one of Black Army's many leaders. This particular one is one of the most high-ranking. He's known as "The Boss" to his underlings.
In the process, I made the background on one paper and the four nearest people on another.
~Lukki
EDIT: Seems like the gallery scales them nicely. And hey, I've got a new background ;)

I spent whole weekend reading two webcomics. And guess what, they inspired me. After I had read both of them, I discussed with Laiti about them and I ended up deciding to change my style a bit. I don't feel I'm that good with pencil, so I decided I'll use pen to make stronger lines. This should also give me the ability to pre-scetch my works, making them better balanced. Thank you, Laiti!
Laiti, er... um... I'm not scitzophrenic! Well, okay, maybe a little. But what kind of comic author was I if I wasn't?
Laiti counts for me as a self-check.

Since I was asked to draw this as weekly special, I drew it. Well, okay, I asked what I could draw and Z came as a suggestion.
Zheizbee originates from my story, Nanomancers: The Final Days, that tells a story of a guild that slowly dies on a certain desert planet. Zheizbee is one of the... what's the word, antagonists. She is actually a robot built by... nah, I won't go to deep details here.
Her name title went a bit... tilted...
I forgot to draw her rifle. I'm that good. First hand, then gun. I curse my bad memory.
First thing you might notice is that the picture is a bit messy around Dark... I have explanations for that. if you don't want to hear them, you can just imagine Dark has a... dark aura around him.
Actually the mess came when I was drawing Soulcweep (She's on the left). I find it difficult to draw female characters. That's why there aren't so many of them. I had the use eraser a lot, draw lines again several times... and stupid me, I had drawn Dark and Malus before drawing Cweep.
Also, Soulcweep didn't end like I wanted her to... but I'm happy with this. I haven't drawn her that much after all.
Now, let's get to actual character introductions. As I mentiones, that's Soulcweep on the left. Nobody is exactly sure where she came from... Oh, for Venessa's sake... I noticed I didn't draw her arm completely... Oh well, that's such a small thing it's not easy to notice... I guess... Well, in reality, she has both arms. So just ignore the stupid author.

The middle one is Dark. You know him well enough. Let's move on.
On the right you see Malus Oculus. I think he's an android or something, since he looks like human, but is actually 100% nanobots. He uses those as weapons. That cloud coming from his hand is a small cloud of nanobots.
On the background you can see Team Keg chasing their runaway balloon. No one's sure if they're still aligned to Dark or not, since he used them only once, but is still responsible of their existence.
That's a pretty long comment... Anyway, no more weekly special about Dark for a while. We've had enough.

It's Dark again, just like I promised. This is a newer pic, in which he seems more sinister than ever. This is before he got his wings though. Other changes I've made is that scythe. I decided to remove the curve, mostly because I didn't like drawing it. And in case you're wondering, it's a mask in his hands.
