You don't know how long I've wanted to do this particular page. Namely the last 4 panels. You don't know, and i can't remember.

I still remember how I wrote down the script while I was walking back home (~30 minute trip from where I walked). Yes, I was actually writing stuff up while walking. Yay.

The script was for 4 panels, so the two first are pretty much filler panels. Maybe I shouldn't have said that. Well, I don't suppose anyone cares about that anyway.

Dakwiz and Leorna look so good together. You know, darkness and light. The contrast. On the other hand, the two are probably older than the others in their team (you know, the team that's currently lost in the desert), and I mean that by both in-character age and as comic character age. Whee.

... No, not together that way! You know what I'm talking about. If you don't, you better not ask.

I haven't felt very motivated lately. Oh well. A filler comic is better than no comic at all.

I need something to cheer me up... Hmm...

Good ol' filler style: 100% pencil. I think my scanner tilted the picture a bit... *Tilts his head to see the strip straight*

In case you can't tell what Laiti is saying because of my poor handwriting (...), he says "Hey, author-like character. Shouldn't you be working on comics?"

You know, out of all the five I've drawn, that shorty seems to resemble me the most... at least in my opinion. It's still far from me though, even the obvious things aside.

On a side note, I finished Twilight Princess last sunday. Nice game. *Runs away, refusing to say anything else of the matter.*

Lookie! There's an update! That still doesn't cover the fact that I'm falling even more behind schedule. My plans never seem to work...

I tried a new way to make the characters' hair. Laiti's hair still looks a bit like bowling ball, though...

The reason why the last two frames seem different is thqat my scanner decided to play a practical joke on me and scanned them for different sized - even though both papers where A4.

Also a little fun fact: the second last panel was originally intended to be the third panel instead. But this way it shows better how... shocked (?) Leo is about hearing Fairy's true name. Fairy is her first name for the record, the one to call her Box gets... I dunno, head-wind? A strike with a hammer on their head?

I also had a little trouble figuring a good line for Laiti in that last panel. I didn't want the speech bubble to grow insanely large, so I had to leave it at that...

Twilight Princess

Right. The comic is late. Again. Don't worry, I have it inked. I have just encountered an obstacle that's bound to slow me down.

That obstacle is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Awesome game. I got it yesterday (on Gamecube, didn't bother getting a Wii just for that), but I didn't have time to play it then. So today my time was spent on that. As a result, the coming updates may be a bit late as well.

Another obstacle that's slowing me down is that I'm going to... what's it called again, driving school. It takes quite a nice chunk out of my time.

Ok, this week was a bit messed up. Anyway, the update is here.

This time I upped the JPG quality a bit. I think it shows. I mean, I couldn't tell it a JPG with one glance. I didn't check how much extra space it's taking, though. I hope it doesn't cause any inconveniences. Difficult word...

Also, I think I got the hang of the fairy's wings now. But still, I can't seem to draw Aurora properly. Bah.

I also tried a new way of making the speech bubbles.

Ah, right. I changed the purple ninja color scheme to the one in their first appearance in weekly special... was it 23 or something. The one I recently used was hurting my eyes. I like this better. Everything's good now. ^_^

I'll have to agree with Laiti here. The whole concept of purple ninja is retarded. And you haven't even heard half of it. Unless you know me. I always end up talking about purple ninja when I'm tired. In fact, they were born when I was both tired and bored. I still remember that night...

The fairy's wings are still causing me trouble... But I'm getting the hang of it.

Another page where I managed to fail miserably. *sigh*. I was depressed from last page on Sunday, so that's why there were no comic then. And monday felt a lot like sunday. Bah.

I'm afraid the fourth frame is too messy to be figured out what happens. Noname is knocked back by some sort of force (not force field). And in the first frame Darkwiz and the fairy appear to be closer to each other than I intended.

I don't think it's a good idea to point out my mistakes. But I suppose that way I remember to avoid them later.

Finally we get some purple ninjas.

This image displays how much I have developed my skills with wings. Let me point out the obvious.

Change to MK II was thicker main lines. "Veins"?

Change to MK III featured different wing shape. No longer the feathers looked like hanging hair.

Change to MK IV featured more curvy lines.

Change to MK V featured bent wings

Change to MK VI was minor, making the wings longer in comparison to their height.

You may have wondered why this circus has not been updating. That would partially be my fault. I have snared the author between his fictional world and a thing that you often refer to as "real life".

In practical this means that he is not doing what he is supposed to do. As a result, the author is drowning in all the pressure that has come upon him.

Do not worry, I will get him back to distract you from your issues you should probably be doing. Until then I shall torment him until he breaks. He might not come back the same as you knew him.

Ok. Seems like I failed my goal to catch the missed updates this year. I make no promises on new year eves, because one should not make promises one cannot... what's the word again? Meh...

I apologize the lack of any updates. I was coming up with a great Chistmas special, but I didn't make it in time (I may try getting that particular one next year. One year to make a Christmas special. Yay). I guess that somewhat depressed me and has kept me away from drawing for a while. This of course resulted in my skill: Crafting (comics) dropping a little.

I think I had something else to say, but I must have forgotten it. I wonder why I'm so forgetful. Maybe I knew that one time but then forgot it. Oh, well...

Ah, right. Laiti is wearing protective glasses and is staying far from the firecrackers. You should follow safety lines as well.

Don't stand next to the fireworks like Master dies. And final thing: don't shoot anyone with...

Actually, Master is referring to the origin of new year fireworks. If my memory doesn't fail me this time, fireworks were used in china to banish demons for a whole year. Honestly I think that won't work in Dark's case. It didn't work the last two years so why would it work now?

And last thing. Although the speech bubbles are ellipses in this special, I'm not sticking with them. It's a pain to do them with my equipment. Also, if you didn't notice, I've changed the font. This change is going to be permanent unlike the first one.

Ok, so Christmas is over, and I find myself with plenty of time in my hands. However, my motivation is currently tuned elsewhere than the comic, so I might not be able to catch up with my comics this year.

In another news, I started a deviantart account. I plan on throwing there anything that isn't directly related to the main comic.

Also, it's ironic that I say "I don't have time/motivation", yet I do motivated news-images. Hooray for randomness.

So, my birthday was today. Or yesterday (10.12) to be exact. I'm finally 18 then. It feels nothing different from before... except that I had to stay up late to make this special.

What do I get now? I can drink. No big deal. I'm not going to. Then I can get my drivers licence. And that'll I get in spring.

Gah! I have other stuff to do as well. Good night, wish my luck.

Edit: Now that I have a moment I say a few things about this special.

They are all in The White Room. There's no shadows because... well, the whole room's white.

The people are my old characters. First is Pal, Sanka (The little guy next to Pal), Nemesos, Keg, Mimic (Not the monster type) and Sankar (Yes, I had trouble naming them nine years ago). Sankars the stick man. Then there's Master, but you know him already.

The orange cans contain carrot juice.

Trying to figure out what they are saying? Don't bother, it's nothing too important. The visible part is... well... "from ahead".

Maybe I could have saved trouble by using the characters from the first part of long cave as sprites and then just change them a little, but it doesn't matter anymore. This is the last "long" single frame you'll be seeing for a while.

My current mood: I feel like I can't draw. Fortunately I know I've done worse.

As you might have noticed, Master's Realm has updated daily during December. However, today was an exception. I had my usage of time poorly planned and I simply don't have time to put up a comic today. You'd guess I had since I had a holiday. In the middle of the week. Neat, eh? You'd think so... I had planned two specials for today, but... well, there won't be. There might be a double update tomorrow or day after. I'll try to fix the specials together during the weekend.

Here it is. Filler, just like I promised yesterday. Actually I would have liked to put this up tomorrow and keep the main story today, but I ran out of time.

Winter is my favourite season. What I like the best is snow. It's too bad we don't have much snow. Ac ouple of years ago we didn't have white Christmas, and this time it looks bad too. I want my snow, dammit!

Nevertheless, there will be several specials that are winter related. I have though of several different ones, and have sketched a few as well.

I noticed purple ninja look actually quite good with scarves.

Where's my snow! Did those darn purple ninja take it! I live in Finland, we're supposed to have snow in early autumn, for Venessa's sake!!

4. I guess I should explain the order of the... "pyramid". Darkwiz is at the bottom because the anti-magic crystal would drain his magic. So using telekinesis was not an option, or any other spell for that matter. Leo is another, he's strong enough to be part of the bottom ones. Then comes Laiti. He can't get any higher because the thorns in the roof would tear his wings. And Noname, being a gentleman, didn't want a lady to carry him. Although that solution might be a bit awkward too. And then there's that Dark......

So, it's first of december. Let's just say that my "challenge" to myself is my christmas present to you. One comic for every day. Nice, isn't it? We had snow a while ago. A week or two. Then it was gone. I hope we get snow for christmas again. And even if there isn't snow, I'm going to make a winter filler. No matter what Laiti says.

How dare I be this late in updating? I can no longer count the mised updates with the fingers of one hand anymore. I'll try to make that up.

Where have I been? Umm... I was... umm... attacked by a paper golem. Yeah, all my papers turned into a paper golem. Then I... was slain by a mushroom.

... okay, this all happened in a game, but you get the point. I hope.

I decided not to explain the comic anymore. I want to leave room for speculation. If I was a bit more careless I might have revealed the whole storyline in advance about two weeks ago. No wait... Don't say I did. Please.

Mistakes I made in this page: I made the cave too yellow. It looks stupid. What I'm proud of is Dark looking at Master's hand in the final panel. But that's just me.

I made a few changes. First, I dropped of the "- colored" suffix at the name of this page. I realized I didn't need it anymore, so...

Topic reminds me, 10 points to the one who can guess what movie title I was thinking when naming this comic.

Dark strikes below the belt when he goes to the aspects of comics. Dam no-good... Well, that doesn't surprise Laiti, because... well, he knows what's happening around here. He knows Master. You know... whatever...

Life of an author isn't easy. You'd think you just go draw, scan and that's it. But no, there's more. You'll... well, at least I'll have to keep improving my comic, trying to make it better. I'll see what I can do in the near future.

I was out of weekly special ideas, so I decided to pull out one of my last Laiti sketches from time right before I started chapter 2. He's holding some sort of ritual dagger I'm not probably ever going to give him. Just a random sketch. Yup. Just random.

Random is the way of today's society. Yay for randomness.

Yay. With this I'm only 3 pages and one weekly special behind schedule. See if I can make more this weekend.

The story's getting more interesting. But comparing to some other comics, it's still amateurish... Oh well, not like I'd be earning anything with these.

Where was I? Oh right. I like making cliffhangers, as you have noticed. If I was given money every time I make one... well... what does one usually do with money?

I love Dark's expression in the last frame. At least I succeeded in something...

Wait, in what mood am I again? Holy crow! I'll go whack Dark with a newspaper.

Ok, which of you has been stealing my time? Give it back, I need it. Seriously.

It seems someone's been stealing my time! Can you believe it? I can't find time to make comics nowadays! Of course I'm still trying, I'm not giving up that easily.

But sheesh... I had one comic ready (last friday's actually) to be scanned but - whaddaya know - I didn't have time to do that.

It seems like I'll be sacrificing my physics classes for these comics now. It's not like I understand those things perfectly either...

Fortunately there's a free week after next week, during which I'll try to make up with the missed updates. Then I'd have to find time to do those three projects for this course as well!

I'll go poke purple ninja with a stick next, I'm pretty sure they're hiding something...

So... it's an update.

Finally got to update this. My host was down so I couldn't update earlier. Now you might think I had a lot of time to make more comics... sorry, this is the only one I managed to complete. I don't know where my tiume went. Maybe the Dire Badger ate them. Maybe the Purple Ninja know something. I dunno.

Let's see if I can find anything to comment in the comic itself. Hmm... Ah, right. I was able to do minor things to this page since I had time, but there's no point in telling about those since none of you saw the first two versions.

I had some trouble figuring Dark's new hairstyle, but it turned out juuust fine.

First of all, here's a button to the chapter 1 last page.

So, I finally got to make the second chapter. How long did that take, two and a half weeks? Neat-o.

I must say I'm happy with the "new" style. Sure, it takes twice as much time to do than before, but it's well worth it.

And Laiti's wings, I've been practicing drawing them for... I don't know how long.

But who's that talking off-panel? That will be revealed in the next page, which I'll be working on tomorrow. I simply don't have time for it today.

I wonder if I missed something...

Of course I did. I decided to reset the page number for every chapter, but the number in the brackets is the total number of pages. Just thought I'd let you know.
