owowo: Wow the first pony i actually liked! 5. (June 9, 2012, 6:00 pm)

Loli-chan: PonyCraft, it's inevitable. (June 9, 2012, 8:02 pm)

mikeycomputer: Seriously, what is there to like about MLP? It's not just because it's "popular". There has to be some sort of reasoning behind why people outside the intended demographic of a show meant for little girls would "like" it to the point of wanting to make tons of fan-made art and memorabilia. I just don't understand... How? Why? (June 9, 2012, 11:12 pm)

Loli-chan: #3 Because the show is awesome. You're quite welcome. No no, no need to thank me. I did it all out of generosity. Have a nice day sir. (June 9, 2012, 11:22 pm)

mikeycomputer: Could you elaborate further #4? (June 9, 2012, 11:44 pm)

Shot: The show is awesome there's nothing to say more. As games or fan works like Touhou or Vocaloid are awesome, there's a huge community of fans behind them. If we had to "elaborate further" we'd have to explain things like why it's so "awesome" and giving an opinion about a character, forcely a subjective one, that's why there's nothing to say more, and without any doubt, if someone like me nor loli said it's awesome it is subjective as well. You should try to watch it, I guess three of five episodes would be good if you want to begin, just the time to find the character you like. MLP is mainly a show about how and why you like a personnality or another. I guess. Oh and of course, no need to thank me. I did it all out of generosity. Have a nice day sir. (June 10, 2012, 1:57 am)

Loafer: No need to get pretentious about it. The new My Little Pony cartoon is actually very well-written for a children's show, featuring a diverse cast of characters, positive morals, and many genuinely funny and heartwarming moments that can appeal to children and parents alike. Because of this, many cartoon aficionados have grown very fond of it, citing it as one of the best animated shows currently running. Unfortunately, said cartoon aficionados also included /co/. After discovering (and subsequently making fun of) an article declaring My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic to be a terrible program before any episodes had aired, some members decided to watch the premiere just for fun. It became an unexpected hit, taking the board by storm and spreading over to /b/. With /b/ being one of the greatest meme-generating areas known to man, it managed to metaphorically drop an atomic bomb on the entire internet, starting the unholy subculture known as "Bronies". In my opinion? Give the show a shot, but don't even bother with the fans. I would know - I was a brony for over a year before realizing that there's just no "good side" to it. (June 10, 2012, 5:15 am)

mikeycomputer: To be honest, I just wanted to start a flame war, but that's a better answer than I was expecting. Thanks Loafer, for making me realize that there are more than just idiots on this site, and in the brony fandom. (June 10, 2012, 5:32 am)

Shot: So ! Tell us you'll try it ! :-D (June 10, 2012, 1:58 pm)

...: @Loafer now what could have happened to you to have such a low regard of a fandom to say that there is absolutelly no good trait about it? (June 10, 2012, 5:03 pm)

_: #11 It's basically the Sonic fandom v2.0, just more concentrated and coordinated. All fandoms are annoying in one way or another, but the reason bronies stick out like a sore thumb is because they consider themselves so goddamn special for liking a show intended for little girls that they wear the title as a badge of honor. They alienate outsiders through their obsessive behavior and alienate other members through infighting. It doesn't help that the most vocal members have the tendency to leak copious amounts of spaghetti. I still like the show though. (June 10, 2012, 8:42 pm)

...: @12 hmm, yes i do have to agree to that there is a tendancy to "spread the word" so to say, though i cant say i have had any problems with it, and in fact i didn't even know what a brony was since a few months back, for a fandom born from the depths of blaa it is really a rather mild fandom. Though it has grown quite large as of late :\ (June 11, 2012, 12:06 am)

Interdasting: #7 Normally I hate bronies, but you... You're okay. (June 13, 2012, 4:34 pm)

THUGNIFICENT: Mlp is a pisspoor flash show that rips off happy tree friends style. The writing is simplistic and stagnant. (almost as if the show was mode for -gasp- children!) The characters are nothing but feminist stereotypes. the music is horrible. The fanbase is by far the most obnoxious one ever formed. Even more so than twilight and sonic. And still, after all that, bronies dont seem to realize MLP is just a 22 minute long commercial to buy shit from hasbro, yet it is treated like the second coming of jesus. Its just a crappy little girls show for christs sake. (June 15, 2012, 1:14 am)
