I don't think I ever saw a single enemy, but I found out that most likely the random number generator is slightly biased towards southwest.

When you move, you may either attack or dig but not both. When you attack, you gain 1 exp. When you dig, you may find a treasure worth of 45 gold. You may spend 10 gold on 1 exp.
This game is just waste of time. I used macro which pressed c and m (move and attack) several times. After having level 13, I got bored.

Half-way expected this to be a shocker Flash when you got to a certain level or got attacked by a monster. As it is, lame.
