wow: Impressive, really. I think that a game like this would be fantastic on a massive scale... Best 2D side-scroller since Metroid Fusion. (November 22, 2009, 6:51 pm)

asdf: A bit short but really entertaining. This is the kind of game what video games are supposed to be like. Simple but interesting. (November 22, 2009, 6:52 pm)

well: didn't like the ending (November 22, 2009, 7:40 pm)

Gomati: Really entertaining (November 22, 2009, 9:32 pm)

LordJebe: I didnt really catch the story, if there even was one. But this was... An amazing game. Simple games are nearly always amazing. And what is the... Thing which bones you circle in the "red" zone? (November 22, 2009, 9:35 pm)

Metro-Kun: Just wow. It was simply amazing, I especially loved the winter part. (November 22, 2009, 9:51 pm)

Mithrandir: I wanna know the songs, they're nice for every game with exploration:-P btw like wow said, It would be REALLY great for a game. (November 22, 2009, 10:07 pm)

Acceletor: This game was sooo good! Loved the ending. Really loved the first thing you see on the screen "There's too much noise" like #1 said "Best 2D side-scroller since Metroid Fusion." (November 22, 2009, 10:42 pm)

Kefka: Is it me or are these pretentious pixel indie games becoming just a tad overdone. (November 23, 2009, 1:54 am)

dfsfsdf: #9 you are getting too overdone, namefag. (November 23, 2009, 12:14 pm)

Lithen: #1 Agree! Felt very Metroid like. It's strange how immersed i felt, few "real" games give that kind of immersion. Music was a huge part of it, and so was the zooming out effect! Cheers (November 23, 2009, 4:11 pm)

JB: Easily one of the best if not The Best online game ever. The zooming effect made me just want to see more and more. (I'm actually a bit pissed that I didn't see every piece of the urban level :) (November 23, 2009, 11:07 pm)

: This is hardly comparable with Metroid. This is an exploration game. The point of these is to draw you a scene which immerses you and makes your imagination tingle. Look up Knytt or Knytt Stories if you want some other great examples (not flash). That said, there is a scent of overdone-ness in the indie department nowadays, but the way the scenes reveal themselves is pretty neat and original. (November 24, 2009, 11:50 pm)

ddddddd2w3: best game i've played on dagobah (November 27, 2009, 8:47 pm)

-: you might also want to play flOw. (December 10, 2009, 1:24 am)

Anon: This game is beautiful. (January 1, 2010, 4:38 am)

Gurpz: wait... did he just fly to the sun....? (August 19, 2010, 11:25 am)

Anon: That ending kinda.. sucks. Well, not necessarily sucks, but still. Damn. (April 23, 2011, 5:07 am)

There are many types, or genres, of these game. To name just few of them: role-playing games, shooters, first-person shooters, side-scrollers, and platformers. Online games can be played with your browser. You don't need to install anything to play game9.swf. Online gaming is a technology rather than a genre; a mechanism for connecting players together rather than a particular pattern of gameplay. Flash allows a much higher level of complexity in on-line games. It frequently allows players to use a wide variety of weapons and objects, and can supply much more detailed maps and settings.
As consoles are becoming more like computers, online gameplay is expanding. The first online game console was the Super Famicom, which offered an online service with the Satellaview. This service was however offered only in Japan. Once online games started crowding the market, open source networks, such as the PlayStation 2, Dreamcast, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube took advantage of online functionality with its PC game counterpart. Games such as Phantasy Star Online have private servers that function on multiple consoles. Dreamcast, PC, Macintosh and GameCube players are able to share one server. Earlier games, like 4x4 Evolution, Quake III and Need for Speed: Underground also have a similar function with consoles able to interact with PC users using the same server. Usually, a company like Electronic Arts or Sega runs the servers until it becomes inactive, in which private servers with their own DNS number can function. This form of open source networking has a small advantage over the new generation of Sony and Microsoft consoles which customize their servers to the consumer.
