blah: Catchy. Got to level 16, stupid comp started to slow down because of the particle amount. (November 24, 2007, 10:20 pm)

Anon: Level 20, but didn't take out the big ship in that level. :( (November 25, 2007, 7:43 pm)

anonymous: lvl 20 here aswell. I had full in everything and i concentrated on one big ship. It didnt go down after all missiles and enery was gone. Dont know how much power ups there were that refilled me either... I cannot say its impossible yet but the big ships is much too overpowered. (November 25, 2007, 8:48 pm)

B: Level 20 too. (November 25, 2007, 8:55 pm)

lulz: The difficulty curve is way stupid, it's pretty much like strolling across a huge hangar and when you're about 75% of the way, machine guns appear in front of you. Then very quickly after that the place gets flooded with a neurotoxin. (November 26, 2007, 2:03 pm)

Bahis: Good game. Got to lvl 23 with score of 137551. Those big enemies are quite easy. Just blow them up with few z-attacks(3-4). (November 26, 2007, 2:10 pm)

green_daypop@hotmail.com: Yes lvl 21:-D (November 27, 2007, 6:25 pm)

Ciry: kinda stupid feeling controls imo, turning sucked big time (December 3, 2007, 12:38 pm)

Koskila: Got to level 21, some 133k points. rocks big time :D Though I didn't take down any of those big monsters. (December 14, 2007, 2:59 pm)

Thejebe: I prefer 'hit and run' tactique; just fly through the battlefield, making no turns until you clear the field and collect the power-ups. Semi-big ones are easy to kill with flying 'under' them and blowing them up with z-attacks (they die with 1 z-attack if your under them). I got no low-shields until the big ones arrived.. Got to lvl 21, those big ones are really hard O.- (May 3, 2008, 2:21 pm)

music???: lol first try lv 20 B-) (August 2, 2009, 8:36 pm)

There are many types, or genres, of these game. To name just few of them: role-playing games, shooters, first-person shooters, side-scrollers, and platformers. Online games can be played with your browser. You don't need to install anything to play doomrunner.swf. Online gaming is a technology rather than a genre; a mechanism for connecting players together rather than a particular pattern of gameplay. Flash allows a much higher level of complexity in on-line games. It frequently allows players to use a wide variety of weapons and objects, and can supply much more detailed maps and settings.
As consoles are becoming more like computers, online gameplay is expanding. The first online game console was the Super Famicom, which offered an online service with the Satellaview. This service was however offered only in Japan. Once online games started crowding the market, open source networks, such as the PlayStation 2, Dreamcast, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube took advantage of online functionality with its PC game counterpart. Games such as Phantasy Star Online have private servers that function on multiple consoles. Dreamcast, PC, Macintosh and GameCube players are able to share one server. Earlier games, like 4x4 Evolution, Quake III and Need for Speed: Underground also have a similar function with consoles able to interact with PC users using the same server. Usually, a company like Electronic Arts or Sega runs the servers until it becomes inactive, in which private servers with their own DNS number can function. This form of open source networking has a small advantage over the new generation of Sony and Microsoft consoles which customize their servers to the consumer.
