Not sure of the "artist" but it is some sort of remix from Metal Gear(NES). Try google for more.

It's quite embarrassing to be corrected but at least I'll do it my self ;-)

So it's not from Metal Gear even though it was partly quite alike. The music is from NES game Castlevania. Google for Castlevania Vampire Killer and you should find the song :-D
