The song was created at the time of the "Weimar Repuplic" (use Wikipedia). At that time the political parties numerous and extreme. There was a communist party aswell and this is a song from one of there members. Also note that "Eastern Germany" was under control of the Soviet union for decades after WW2. And guess who "invented" communism? It was Karl Marx, a german.

this song was created at the time of the "cold war"(weimar republic was before the WW2). In this time the USA and the Sovjets were near to began an atomic war. the "berliner wall" was build at this time, too ^^.

no it was created at the time at the weimar republic around 1930. there is a movie "No man's Land" by Victor Trivas and this is the Ending Song. Also some lyrics are cut out in the version you see in this flash.
