Germany is one of the biggest Music and Movie Market in the world for industry. Thats the reason why also the Beatles (!!) sang some songs in german.

PS: English dubbed Animes sounds crapy too.

because japanese is totally the easiest and most popular language in the world right? goddamn germans are simply too dense or uptight to learn english i mean its pretty handy nowadays.
