Anonymous: Q Quit R Restart Don't start playing then notice these at the bottom-left. (September 6, 2009, 8:05 pm)

Anonymous: S Save A return to savepoint (September 6, 2009, 8:09 pm)

Anonymous: The numbers, from the top left: Level - you seem to attack faster and are all-around tougher as this increases. Increase by choosing the 100 option from the blue wizard guys. Health - HP. Increase by drinking potions or buying from the totem (top option). Attack - Increase by acquiring weapons or buying from the totem (middle option). Defense - Increase by acquiring armor or buying from the totem (bottom option). Totem$ - Used to buy things from the blue totem thing. Increased by killing monsters. Wizard$ - Used to buy things from the blue wizards. Increased by killing monsters. The next box is your number of keys and the current floor number. The save option is glitched. If you load while in middle of a battle or shop dialog, you'll still be in it when you load. It'll display your level as 1 too, though the game mechanics will still handle the level correctly. (September 6, 2009, 8:49 pm)

Anonymous: Oh right, and the red merchants sell keys. (September 6, 2009, 8:51 pm)

Anonymous: A%#&@*$@, I beat the boss on floor 16, then did a save restore to before that point. Now I can't fight him, so I %#&%ed. The merchant who does a trade for $500 will glitch too if you make the deal and then restore -- the game will lock up if you try talking to him. (September 6, 2009, 10:31 pm)

blahblah: This game is blaa blaa blaaing bugged to boot (September 6, 2009, 10:52 pm)

Anonymous: One of the artifacts gives you the power to see the stats of nearby monsters by pressing L. Don't do this. This screen can get stuck. (September 6, 2009, 11:11 pm)

Anonymous: Your reward for dealing with all the bugs and winning: You get to fight a boss that you fought already, see scrolling white Moonspeak against a black background, and are then dumped to the credits screen (viewable via Q) and back to the main menu. (September 7, 2009, 12:16 am)

Zzizzirix: 5 try, and it is done, main priority it is make lvl as high as possible. Ended with 110 lvl 2200 atack 1300 def and final battle start with 180 000 hp. Dont go to the last floor until you buy all you need. (September 10, 2009, 4:35 pm)

Anonymous: #9 - #8 here. I probably should have mentioned that you can cheat by finding a weak enemy, saving, attacking it, and quickly reloading before the battle is over. Infinite xp, infinite $. GJ doing it the hard way. :) (September 11, 2009, 9:10 am)

There are many types, or genres, of these game. To name just few of them: role-playing games, shooters, first-person shooters, side-scrollers, and platformers. Online games can be played with your browser. You don't need to install anything to play Magic_Tower.swf. Online gaming is a technology rather than a genre; a mechanism for connecting players together rather than a particular pattern of gameplay. Flash allows a much higher level of complexity in on-line games. It frequently allows players to use a wide variety of weapons and objects, and can supply much more detailed maps and settings.
As consoles are becoming more like computers, online gameplay is expanding. The first online game console was the Super Famicom, which offered an online service with the Satellaview. This service was however offered only in Japan. Once online games started crowding the market, open source networks, such as the PlayStation 2, Dreamcast, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube took advantage of online functionality with its PC game counterpart. Games such as Phantasy Star Online have private servers that function on multiple consoles. Dreamcast, PC, Macintosh and GameCube players are able to share one server. Earlier games, like 4x4 Evolution, Quake III and Need for Speed: Underground also have a similar function with consoles able to interact with PC users using the same server. Usually, a company like Electronic Arts or Sega runs the servers until it becomes inactive, in which private servers with their own DNS number can function. This form of open source networking has a small advantage over the new generation of Sony and Microsoft consoles which customize their servers to the consumer.
