Matt: That's what happens when you get so used to the Japanese version. I didn't watch Haruhi subbed, so I was able to watch the dub just fine. Yet I watched all of Lucky Star subbed, so the dub sounds just as awkward to me. Technically speaking, both dubs are equal; the only difference was watching one of them in Japanese first.
